Hike 07: Appalachian Trail, Mount Minsi Summit

I’ve seen Mount Minsi many times while hiking to the summit of Mount Tammany on the NJ side of the Delaware Water Gap, but had never explored the other side of the border. I decided to summit Mount Minsi via the Appalachian Trail for hike seven of my 52 hike Challenge. It was barely 10° outside when I parked in the Lake Lenape parking lot. Hike 05: Round Mountain | Bouman-Stickney Farmstead

Hike five of my 52 Hike Challenge brought me to a location that I initially found when I changed the route I take home from work. I stopped one day to check out what looked like a trailhead sign next to a farm field, and found a promising spot for a hike. After doing some research on the area; the Round Mountain trail system and Bouman-Stickney Farmstead were officially on my list.  Continue reading
