First appearing as a special edition on the TJ Wrangler; the Willys edition was most recently available on the JK Wranglers. Absent for the first two model years of the JL, Willys is back with similar gear for the 2020s.More important than a bunch of cool stickers; the Willys edition comes standard with a limited slip rear diff, rock rails, and 32″ mud terrain tires.

The Willys Edition is based on the Sport S trim and will likely be available with powertrain options available on the Sport (2.0L turbo 4cyl or the 3.6L V6).

The Black and Tan Wrangler offers mostly aesthetics, including a tan interior and tan soft top.

Trims confirmed for the 2020 model year are: Sport, Sport S, Willys and Black and Tan Special editions (both based on the Sport S), Sahara (which is only available as a four door with the 3.6L V6 and the 8 speed automatic), and the range topping Rubicon.

The 3.0L Eco Diesel has been officially confirmed for Sport and Rubicon trims.
