I’m incredibly lucky to have an amazing place to hike within a few miles of my house. On days like today when I don’t have a lot of time, but want to get a quick hike in, I head to the Sourland Mountain Preserve.

I didn’t have a lot of time, and didn’t make it as far out as I had wanted to, but I was running out of daylight and was excited to get in the hike that I did. It was my first time using my new microspikes which made a huge difference on the slushy, icy trail. More to come on those.
