Much like The Sourland Mountain Preserve, Washington Valley Park is another great hiking and mountain biking location in Somerset County, NJ. Hike number four of my 52 Hike Challenge was a 3.63 mile journey around the reservoir.

The most exciting thing about this hike was finally seeing some frozen streams and water falls. It’s been so warm this winter I’m not sure I’ll get many snow hikes in before spring. Hopefully the weather chills out soon.
