The Freedom Edition Wrangler received some changes for the 2016 model year, including new badging and custom seats. Continue reading
Going Plum Crazy for the Jeep Wrangler Backcountry Edition
The exclusive color to the Backcountry Edition is technically called Xtreme Purple; however, we all know it should have been Plum Crazy. Continue reading
Jeep Wrangler Black Bear – color match top
It’s no secret I’m a fan of special edition Wranglers. The Willys Wheeler is still my favorite of recent years, but the Black Bear is a cool package. Continue reading
2016 Jeep Wrangler Black Bear Sighting
The 2016 Wranglers have started hitting dealers and I was lucky enough to catch a pair of Black Bears today. The Black Bear features a topographical map of Colorado’s Black Bear trail as well as “Wrangler” side hood decals. Rubicon rock rails, tail light guards and a flat black grille are standard on the newest special edition Wrangler. I still think the Willy’s is a better package overall, but the Black Bear’s map and optional color match top are pretty cool. Continue reading
2016 Wrangler Announced with New Black Bear Edition
Jeep recently announced what could possibly be the final year of the JK Wrangler. To no ones surprise, there aren’t any major updates for the 2016s with the next generation Wrangler on the horizon – due as a 2017 or 2018 model. Continue reading
Dear Jeep, please build the Chief and take my money!
It’s been two years since the Jeep design team gave us the last pair of true concept vehicles for the Easter Jeep Safari – read about my thoughts on the J12 and Mighty FC. 2015 Easter Jeep Safari Teasers
Every year the Jeep brand creates a group of heavily modified and fabricated custom vehicles for the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, UT.
Train Rated Jeeps
I don’t have any official statistics to back my claim – but I’m pretty confident in saying that the Jeep Wranger has one of the biggest aftermarkets, and is one of the most modified vehicles of recent decades. We see a lot of cookie cutter Jeeps, all lifted the same way, with fancy wheels, and knobby tires that most likely never see mud – but every once in a while you see a gem. A completely crazy, off-the-wall, I-can’t-believe-that’s-a-Jeep Jeep. Continue reading
Firecracker Wrangler: legal in all 50 states
I spent a good part of the weekend going through thousands of pictures, and hours upon hours of video in an attempt to clean up and reorganize my laptop and hard drives. I was successful, but also realized that I never posted the pictures of the Firecracker Red JKs I’ve spotted over the last few months. I found two unlimited Sports, and a 2 door Willys – still huniting for a color match top. Continue reading
