The Freedom Edition Wrangler received some changes for the 2016 model year, including new badging and custom seats.
The major change to the exterior are new olive drab colored Oscar Mike and Trail Rated badges. The driver’s side fender now also has a vertical stripe and American flag decal.

How’s it going Kevin. Nice New Jeep JKU Freedom Edition. I have the same Brilliant Sliver JKU Sport I’m upgrading to the Freedom Edition externally. I bought the Oscar Mike emblems but don’t know the distance from the bottom edge of the drivers side trail badge to the top of the Oscar Mike emblem. Could you you possibility take a measurement and send it to me? The dealer I bought it from did not have the specs.

Hi Tim! I took these pics at a dealer and so I don’t have the vehicle in front of me. Next time I see one I’ll try to grab a measurement for you. I believe it was about 2 inches below the trail rated badge.
Thanks for the fast reply. I assumed you picked up another new Jeep, so an incorrect assumption on my part. No worries. They are a bit scarce at MT dealerships to go out an do a quick measurement. Haven’t found specs online yet since 2016 changed the Freedom Edition design from previous years.
