I haven’t yet been able to get to the mountain this winter, but I did find an hour to install the Thule Universal Snowboard rack I got for Christmas. (Thanks Mom and Dad!) As always, the first thing I did was make sure I had all of the parts and tools needed for the job. Continue reading
I don’t have any official statistics to back my claim – but I’m pretty confident in saying that the Jeep Wranger has one of the biggest aftermarkets, and is one of the most modified vehicles of recent decades. We see a lot of cookie cutter Jeeps, all lifted the same way, with fancy wheels, and knobby tires that most likely never see mud – but every once in a while you see a gem. I’m a sucker for a nice orange Jeep. Mango Tango is still the best Orange (in my opinion) of recent years, but Sunset Orange is certainly a color I would order a JK in, if I were ordering a JK. The best way to describe the new orange is to imagine if Crush and Rock Lobster had a baby. Sunset is well named for the hue; with a nice mixture of red and orange, while remaining dominantly orange. I was actually really surprised when I turned the corner and saw it – I wasn’t expecting it to look anything like this. The Copper Brown Wrangler has almost a bronze look to it, and was not as dark as I had anticipated. It wouldn’t be my first choice color, but I’m sure some people will like it. Continue reading
After seeing some pictures on Twitter of what I thought was a re-up of the Arctic Edition Wrangler, I spotted what we now know is an X package for the Sahara Trim level.
I spotted a Tank Green Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon a few weeks ago while getting the oil changed in the Patriot. It reminds me of what I used to think of as ‘Jeep Green.’ Glad to see the dark green making a comeback for 2015! Continue reading
