Are you pick up truck what I’m putting down? Wrangler based pickup truck confirmed?!

Sergio Marchionne confirmed yesterday that a Wrangler Pickup truck is indeed in the works. We’ve heard the boss man make comments like this before, but the confirmation via FCA’s social accounts gives it a bit more credibility than before. Jeep has been teasing us for years with awesome one offs, and with the actual thing reportedly debuting by the end of 2017; let’s recap the recent concepts.

2016 Jeep Wrangler Black Bear Sighting

The 2016 Wranglers have started hitting dealers and I was lucky enough to catch a pair of Black Bears today.  The Black Bear features a topographical map of Colorado’s Black Bear trail as well as “Wrangler” side hood decals.  Rubicon rock rails, tail light guards and a flat black grille are standard on the newest special edition Wrangler.  I still think the Willy’s is a better package overall, but the Black Bear’s map and optional color match top are pretty cool. Hiking Mount Willard – Crawford Notch State Park, NH

I’m still on a bit of a high from my recent trip to New Hampshire.  The highlight of the trip for me was hiking to the summit of Mt. Willard.  It’s not the tallest mountain in the Whites, and it’s not even one of the coveted 4,000 footers, but Willard is by far the best bang for your buck hike I’ve done in years. Continue reading
