I’m a sucker for a nice orange Jeep. Mango Tango is still the best Orange (in my opinion) of recent years, but Sunset Orange is certainly a color I would order a JK in, if I were ordering a JK. The best way to describe the new orange is to imagine if Crush and Rock Lobster had a baby. Sunset is well named for the hue; with a nice mixture of red and orange, while remaining dominantly orange. This is the first Wrangler color that I can think of that’s name has an apostrophe. Being a huge fan or funky colored Jeeps – I really like Amp’d. It is also an orange that most people could live with. Not quite as bold as Dozer… Amp’d is closer to Mango Tango with a hint of gold. Continue reading
2012 Crush Orange Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited
I pass a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Fiat dealer on my way to work every morning – and for the last few weeks I’ve been checking the lot for a Crush Orange JK Wrangler while sitting in traffic. I thought I spotted one in the lot a few days ago, but it was gone by the time I passed on my way home. I stopped in Friday night, and to my surprise, they had moved the beautiful beast inside.
