Spring is in the air! And among many other things, that means Jeep’s yearly concept tease at the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. The EJS has been on my bucket list for years, but for now, I’ll have to watch from afar and speculate on the images that trickle out over the next few weeks.
Jeep just revealed sketches of two of the six vehicles they plan to bring to bring to Moab: The Wrangler “Slim” and the Grand Cherokee “Trailhawk II.”
The Trailhawk II concept is promising – mostly for the paint job. An orange Grand Cherokee is not something we get to see often, especially one with Rubicon wheels. Clearly, Jeep is going to showcase the 2014 redesign in Moab.
I can’t find much to get excited about with the Wrangler “slim” concept yet – hopefully the euro bumpers are hinting at a diesel power plant under the hood.
Neither of the vehicle sketches show the promise of pure awesome that we saw last year with both the J12, and Mighty FC concepts. Hopefully Jeep has a few surprises (more pickup truck concepts) planned for Moab this year.
