The 2016 Wranglers have started hitting dealers and I was lucky enough to catch a pair of Black Bears today. The Black Bear features a topographical map of Colorado’s Black Bear trail as well as “Wrangler” side hood decals. Rubicon rock rails, tail light guards and a flat black grille are standard on the newest special edition Wrangler. I still think the Willy’s is a better package overall, but the Black Bear’s map and optional color match top are pretty cool. Continue reading

Sunset Orange 2015 Wrangler Sport Sighting
I’m a sucker for a nice orange Jeep. Mango Tango is still the best Orange (in my opinion) of recent years, but Sunset Orange is certainly a color I would order a JK in, if I were ordering a JK. The best way to describe the new orange is to imagine if Crush and Rock Lobster had a baby. Sunset is well named for the hue; with a nice mixture of red and orange, while remaining dominantly orange. Copper Brown 2015 Wrangler Willys spotted! [gallery]
I was actually really surprised when I turned the corner and saw it – I wasn’t expecting it to look anything like this. The Copper Brown Wrangler has almost a bronze look to it, and was not as dark as I had anticipated. It wouldn’t be my first choice color, but I’m sure some people will like it. Continue reading
TANK Green 2015 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon [gallery]
I spotted a Tank Green Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon a few weeks ago while getting the oil changed in the Patriot. It reminds me of what I used to think of as ‘Jeep Green.’ Glad to see the dark green making a comeback for 2015! Continue reading
Could Jeep be preparing for a supra-Rubicon Wrangler?
Prior to 2003, there were few factory options available that would increase the offroad ability of your YJ or TJ Wrangler. Lift kits, rock sliders, heavy duty transfer cases, heavy duty axles, selectable lockers, sway bar disconnects, and lower axle gearing (among other things) were reserved for aftermarket manufacturers, or ambitious do-it-yourself-ers.
Crush Orange 2012 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with Color Match Top
I promise this will be the last Crush Orange Wrangler post – I just love this orange so much and know that a lot of you are having a hard time finding them. As with all of the pictures I’ve taken, the color seems a little lighter than it actually is. The grille shot with the Crush parked next to the Dozer shows a good comparison of the two. enjoy!
